Re: Wheel Hub replacement How To

Step 11 Install your New Hub and The Old Dust shield ON the truck And yes i Found out i put the dust shield on backward and Couldn;t get the rotor on so it all had to come back apart

Step 12 Install Axle Nut and tighten to spec Socket is a 36mm

Step 13 Reinstall Rotor And Dust cap I use a lug nut to hold the Rotor in Place, Don't Worry You Don;t need the Metal tabs that Where Hold the Rotors on To begin with as they where only there to hold the rotors on during assembly , the wheel will hold it on!

Step14 Reinstall your Brake Caliper Be Sure to Route your abs Wires the same As the old one and hook it up the new hub has A new clips to hold it on so dont worry about the clips on the old one

Step 15 Reinstall Your Wheel And Tighten the lug nuts to 140Ft/lbs oh Wait Remember to take off the lug nut you used to hold the rotor in place!

Step 16 Install the Center Cap and Test Drive your Now Done.
