It’s always been hit and miss for me with Brothers as well...

Can’t you just paint that bracket It’s only surface rust, and I’d paint it before installing anyways, regardless if there was any or not.

Battery trays are flimsy by design, just bend it back and you are good to go.

While I wouldn’t be thrilled to open a box and see the parts looking that way, it certainly wouldn’t prevent me from using them and working on my truck for a whole weekend.
