Take/verify dimensions.
Loosen the hardware.
Open the hood.
Stand on the front bumper while holding onto the front edge of the hood for balance & give it H#@L. Get some movement going.
Re-check the dimensions.
Re-tighten hardware w/the suspension compressed.
