Re: Burb/Panel ride quality

The spring rates are all about the same and your limited to 4" rear springs for the back. I feel like the shocks are the key. I have tried several sets and like the belltech street performance shocks I have on my 66 now. The seat can also make a change in the ride. When my seat was redone and i went from the cotton pad to the two layers of foam they used in was a big change in comfort. I have also started looking at tire ratings on tirerack.com. They have good ratings on tires and rate comfort. There are a lot of side wall and tire construction differences in the same size tire and it can make a big change in the ride. So for my Burb I am going to work it all as a system and see how it does.
