I just installed the spotlights that have been in my garage for many years with these brackets with a little inspiration from markeb01's help. I didn't have those fancy inside brackets, so I used, a, um, towel hanger that I took apart and drilled out the bracket holes for a finished look.
Anyway, I'll throw a couple of pictures of them on here for posterity.
