Not quite sure I’m following you. Are you suggesting that BJ doesn’t require the high bidder to actually purchase the vehicle and pay the buyer fees on some of the lots? Seems to me that the prices are set by the winning bid and the buyer who is willing to pay his winning bid/fees total. I could see where there may be some fake bidders to drive up the price, but you still need an actual buyer to purchase the car/truck at the final price.
I do agree that BJ Auction is a show. The price of admission is ridiculous and it seems crazy that a buyer has to pay a fee to bid and win the right to pay a 10% winning buyers fee.
