problem solved

i love reading this board and learn alot, and I always want people to post their fixes. So not to be a hypocrit, I finally fixed my jittery vaccuum problem. My vac gage would vibrate like crazy under load and idle and the engine wasn't smooth. After bying new plugs, wires cap and rotor, Still had the exact same problem. The problem was crossfiring between the pass. side cylinders. Took a timing light on #2 and watched a mark on the alternator pulley as a reference and it would jump occasionally. It never missed but it would get an extra fire which meant another cylinder wasn't getting full energy. The solution was to rearrange the plug wires and use seperators. The vac gage is steady and the truck now has the smoothness and power it should.
