Just be aware they make reducer style fittings. ( These are common in brake line applications. I.E. 3/16" tubing in a fitting that is sized for 1/4" inverted flare.) Its been many years since I was in Raleigh but I think there was a place called Allied hose that we used at the plant. Good luck.
