I'm sure yours works good as is, but there is a taller lid and filter that fits that base (about twice as tall) you could get at a junkyard cheap as well. Could get a little more air flow and filtering area for that big block.

Ah yes, I know the lid you speak of. My 84 blazer had a tall lid like that now that you mention it. Great idea....now the wheels are turning again
