They sure will. I replaced the throttle body on the 87 van I bought. It was worn and I got a good deal at the junkyard on another one that wasn't worn. It does in fact really screw with idle.
Now after saying what I did in the last post, I'm guessing they sell rebush kits for TBI's. I know they do for Q-jets, so I'm assuming they do. Of course you know the meaning of assume, right?
