Good to know and although it sounds a bit weird...it sometimes is very helpful to see the lessons learned by other.
I'm a pretty hand guy but most of my shop experience has been in woodworking rather than in metal working.
I have a grinder but I have rarely used it.....looks like a full face shield is a good idea tho'.
