Weigh the inners when you get them out. Wonder if some thin aluminum could be used to replace them. Just would be nice to not throw water and road grime all over your engine when you get caught out in it. I'm a "deletion" kind of guy, always fun to get the weight down and better located. But I agree, I would do anything to not have to pull the front clip.
