I finally found an iron-case version of this trans... Has the Mopar bellhousing style, and requires that special aluminum bellhousing.
Picked it up at my swap meet for $100--included the shifter, trans, bell, throw-out bearing and clutch fork.
Unfortunately, I can't use it in my '61, because of the bellhousing, but I CAN use it i my '56 Chevy hot rod when that project comes off the back burner.
