Re: Worlds Fastest Pickup Truck! - Fast Freddy's 1966 Pro Mod Chevy Pickup

[QUOTE=1Bad62Pro/Street;5509920][FONT="Courier New"][SIZE="2"][COLOR="Navy"]It's actually used to pull the cars/trucks to the burnout hole and to the pit area after the run. It's just a rod sticking out from the chassis and a flat piece of aluminium metal or carbon fiber around it to be more aerodynamic. You just slide it off and hook your rope to it and pull it with a truck, golf cart or 4 wheeler. Some are long and some are real short. Just enough to protrude out of the from bumper.
Others use it on the top of car.

This cracks me up.

That is NOT what the front wicker bill is used for! It is allowed on cars with short front over hangs to be able to meet the 45 inch front end limit. I have heard it called alot of things over the past 20-22 years but a tow hook is a first for me lol.

Here read this for the people want to know what it really is for.
