Yes I did check the floats. I reset both of them in the uprite and upside down directions. I set mine to close at about 7/16. Maybe I didn't understand the Edelbrock chart. I wanted to go one step down from stock on my 1406. I read straight down the "cruise base line" to the next number which was #8. Then I noted the part # and ordered new metering rods and primary jets. The truck won't hardly run on them. Thats how I got to this spot.
