Bangin' out some dents in my dad's Farmall tractors
After doing all of the body work on my '69, i think my dad got a bit of project bug-itist. So what did he do? pick up a sweet muscle car? no. an old truck? nope. some 30's - 40's fat fender? nope...
He picked up not one, not two, but three Farmall tractors. He was pretty happy with the work i did on my truck, so he asked if i would do some work on his tractors over the winter. I didn't have anything in the garage, so i figured why not. At minimum it would give me the chance to learn more, and would maybe make me a buck or two. I do have some before pictures, but I can't seem to find them right now. As soon as I do i'll post them up along with some current state pics. |

Haha, way to bleed red my friend!
We have 4, plus a parts tractor. a '39 H, a '42 H, a '43 M, and a '47 H. Atleast, that's my understanding...the years may be a few off, but, regardless. Theys tart up every year when we ask them to, and keep on pluggin' along. Love them ol' Farmalls. -Sam.

Re: Bangin' out some dents in my dad's Farmall tractors
Yeah, where's the pics, buddy
Someday when I have a big enough shed to store them in (IMO, a collectable tractor without a roof over it is an even bigger sin than a pickup outside) I want a few tractors like I grew up on, plus a few that I always wanted to at least run, but never got the chance. Farmall MTA (preferably diesel) IH 856 or larger IH 966 or larger JD 720 JD 4020 MM G1000 Actually, I'll be happy to own even ONE of them
