Nativity scene
The Supreme Court has ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene on Capitol Hill this Christmas season.
*** This isn't for*any*religious reason. They simply have*not*been able to find Three Wise Men in the Nation's Capital. **** A search for a Virgin also continues. * There was*no*problem, however, finding enough asses to fill the stable.**

Re: Nativity scene
The world would be a better place if the same miracle that happened in Jerusalem would happen on Capitol Hill. It's a pretty similar situation, only now it's a whole exclusive club rather that just a king.
Yep, the ones that aren't asses are sheep.

Re: Nativity scene
Sheep, that's as much apart of the problem as the asses.
I don't want to get into a political discussion here, but I was friends with one of our Congressmen years ago. One day at lunch he told me representing the people was frustrating, because so few people expressed their wants needs and desires directly to their representatives. He said a lot of legislation was passed with only a few letters from his constituents on any subject.

Re: Nativity scene
Nice Larry!
Did he say how many letters were filed in the small rectangular bin next to the desk though?

Re: Nativity scene
Say say say... whatever. They all have their own agenda and that's why they run for office. Represent the people?? Yeah right. We're not talking about George Washington here.
