68 Chevy 16.5 x 9.75 steel?

Wanted to ask the pros on these steels wheels

Are these OEM for Chevy c20? It looks like they have the inside nubs. Will a 68 cap fit these rims? I thought there were multiple type cap mounts for the 68 year.

Thanks in advance.

Unless I'm mistaken, 9.75" wide wheels were not offered as OEM. I'm guessing those are aftermarket wheels, which were commonly available in that size.

No. GM wheels have clips in those years. Those aftermarket wheels have inner tabs designed for period Ford or Dodge.

More than likely Dodge, judging by the size of the center hole. Fords had a smaller center hole for some reason

Those nubs are for Ford. Most guys ran open wide steel wheels back then. Adding hubcaps acme along once the trucks became classic. Aftermarket wheels were made with the larger center holes for one size fits all application. Chevy wheels had the smaller holes.
