2 mystery wire connectors

I have 2 wire connectors near the key switch in a 67 c20,one is brown and the other is gray.Can someone tell me what these wires were for?The brown wire is hot when key is on and the gray wire is hot when headlights are on.Thanks, Robert

The gray wire is most likely a dash light feed for the dash lights or for the heater panel light. Does the brown wire come off the key switch ,I was gonna say it is for the accessories but the 67 key switch doesn't have an accessory terminal. The heater switch has a brown wire which is hot with the key on. I think the AC switch might have a brown one also.

Thanks VetteVet,I have a heater harness that's not installed yet and it has a open spot on the plug the brown wire may plug into it.I see no bulb socket for the heater so that must be the cutoff gray wire.Much appreciated,Robt
