Post Power

I have a 1980 Chev 350 thats been rebuilt and the main differences from it being stock are it now has a new edelbrock car on it I believe its a 650cfm its new but I didnt install it. and it also has a gm geardrive on it. I've purchased a gm double roller chain drive should I replace the geardrive with it. I just want to know how do i get more power out of my engine without spending alot

a double roller timing chain wont give you more power than a gear drive
the only reason i would replace it with a roller chain is if you hated the noise of a gear drive
ok,,, more power for cheap.... good set of headers and dual 2.5" exhaust with a good hi performance muffler open element air cleaner edelbrock performer intake
you probaly already have a HEI maybe get a hi heat coil good set of MSD 8mm wires and oh yea a good sized cam,,,
