Heres what i did today

So, I started removal of the 327 from the truck yesterday, and got as far as pulling off all the stuff like alternator, power steering pump, carb, etc. Today I decided to yank the engine the rest of the way and get ready for a rebuild.
Heres where I started:


And heres how i finished today:


Im going to rip it apart at school and do a few 'modifications' to get this baby purring agian.

Just wait, you keep this up you'll get to the point you can get a motor out and another back in all in one day. My brother and I did it in a 16 hour day. Man were we beat. But nothing like hearing the thing purr afterwords.

sweet. the motor looks like it has a fresh coat of paint. how old is it? does it need rebuilding or are you going for more power?

the engine still runs just fine, im going for more power
The box behind the battery is actually a wooden platform that a P.A. speaker once mounted to.

Yeah, this is the first engine i have pulled. Its going to look nice n' purdy when its done. Im shootin for about 400hp out of this 327ci beast.
