ID Rear End / brakes

My 68 came with a 5 lug already done - which is GREAT for me - but I cannot figure out what it came from. I want to redo the rear brakes and figuring out what it is and what I need to order has been a challenge.

It is a 5x5 lug
11" across the pads
2 3/4" wide pads

I see where you can buy 11x2 for many GM trucks, but it seems like the 2 3/4 would not float around and be better.

Anyone have any advice or thoughts?

Thanks!

Re: ID Rear End / brakes

You have the heavy duty version rear brakes that cane on half ton pickups starting in 75 or 76, maybe even 74.
The drums are actually 11-5/32 I.D.
Order brakes parts for a 77 1/2 ton with the 2-3/4" wide shoes, and you should be fine.

I have all the parts to use that setup on one on my pickups (67 and 68), the backing plates are different also.
