67 4x4
i want to make my 67 lwb 2x4 into a 4x4, i have a 86 3/4 ton 4x4 chassis has anyone put tyhis body on this frame ? thgere is not a possibility of me finding a 67-72 4x4 frame so this is what i have to work with. any info would greatly appreciated and web sites of this transfer that has been done. thanks, im not worried about the cutting grinding,welding i just need the specs thanks

yes, full body swap requires all new mount locations. May be easier to move the later model suspension mounts onto your 2wd frame. no welding required!

Are you looking for any lift? or are you wanting roughly a stock height 4x4?

I have a 67 2wd that Im going to convert to 4wd. Im also going to shorten the lwb frame to swb. The front swap shouldnt be to bad, but I havnt been able to find alot of info on the rear. Ill need to swap my rear coilds out to leaf springs, I do alot of fab work so Ill probably just build a set of spring hanger. Ill be adding a 6" lift to mine during the conversion

thanks for the info guys i thought it looked like the hump in the frame was in the wrong place,so i guess i won't get in to it this deep i'll look at other options,i made a 86 crew cab 4x4 once and it turned out to be a pretty good job don't want to do that again so this info changes my mind thankls again
