I couldn't help myself when i saw this one on Craiglist, already had a K20 that was a good starter for my daily driver. So i bought it, and the K20 has been sold.
It's a clean good driving truck except for the 4.10 gears with the tb350 are not highway friendly. I'm in the process of upgrading the drivetrain. so far i purchased a Blueprint 373HP small block and found a nice 700r4 K case. hopefully over the next month i'll have all the parts to have it back on the road. That looks like an outstanding choice, plenty of low torque and tons of HP.
Are you going with a carb?

With those big tires and an overdrive, maybe the 4.10s will be OK?

Yeah, the plan is an Edelbrock 600cfm with a 2116 edl intake, also ordered the Flotech rams horn exhaust manifolds. Goal is low end power for daily driving and towing from time to time.

Well I'm back at it, Goal is to have a reliable truck to drive by Christmas. Guess we will see! Ordering a 205 from ORD tomorrow.

Got the engine and transmission out tonight, had to let air out of the tires to make the last couple inches. Ordered a 205 from ORD 4-6 week wait. Should be just enough time to have all ready for reassembly.

Things seem to move slower than one expects. Made some progress this past few weeks. Got the crossmember moved and engine/700r4/NP205 installed. Getting closer
