mounting a k5 blazer to a longbed frame?

Hello all.im going to be swapping my 4wd 86 k5 frame out for a 2wd suspensi.my local pull and pay has about 10-15 trucks with complete suspensions(longbeds) now my question is will my blazer mount on to one of these longbed frames? Or would I need to take all of the components off and transfer them to my k5? Any info/know-how,greatly appreciated.

Same year longed trucks? I believe the wheelbases are different so the body won't swap over directly. If its a comparable year then you could swap components.

The back half of your Blazer frame is completely unique to the Blazer. You will need to swap the front components. There is a build thread going right now in the 73-87 forum on this exact swap. Theres an older more detailed thread that I will try to look up as well.
