03 Silverado SS Frame question

I have a Silverado SS rolling chassis left over from a project. Will a crew cab fit on the extended cab chassis using the shorter bed? Are the mounting points the same on the crew cab? How about a Tahoe? Would the mounts be in the same location?

I would like to use that all wheel drive platform for my next project as it isin great shape.

Re: 03 Silverado SS Frame question

The frames are different between ext cab and crew cab. Tahoe is way different.

What you could do though is put the NVG149 and front diff in a 4x4 truck or Tahoe and have AWD. Everything beside those 2 parts is the same 4x4 vs. AWD.
