Toad Suck Daze

Yes, that's right. Toad Suck Daze is going on this weekend in Conway, Arkansas. It's an annual shindig. There are toad races and all things toad. Fun for all.
I kid you not. See toadsuck.org for the lowdown.

"Toad Suck Days" sounds like some kind of South American thing where people sit around licking on those poison dart frogs and getting totally ripped, and puking everywhere. I'll pass.

Re: Toad Suck Daze

I went to a bid opening at Ola just south of Centerville a while back. I knew your relatives lived in Centerville, but no idea where.

WE built a city water tank for the city of Ola a few years ago.

Re: Toad Suck Daze

For several decades my father in law ran a Texaco station at 64&I40 at Conway Ar he also had wreckers and a salvage yard out on Acklin Gap Road. I live at Conway for a year . There was in the early days a tavern where the Toad Suck lock and dam is now located. The area got its name from the tavern and the rowdy rivermen in the early 1800,s

Beware of a criminal in the area. Called the Toad Suck Toe Sucker. He apparently has a foot fetish!
