Transmission mount torque
I need to change out the transmission mount on turbo 350. Does anyone know what torque I should tighten the bolts too or should I just hand tighten them?
Thanks |

Re: Transmission mount torque
Just tight. I have never torqued a trans mount. Just be careful some cheap mounts will strip the threads out easily.

Re: Transmission mount torque
Who makes a good transmission mount for my 71 automatic? I've stripped the threads on 2 of the cheap ones I got from my local parts store.

Re: Transmission mount torque
Energy suspensions mount is good. Some of parts house mounts are absolute garbage.
