head/block combo questions
462624.....75-86...350/400......76cc chamber, 1.72/1.5, 1.94/1.5 or 2.02/1.6 valves
ive got these heads would they work on this block? 14093638...350...87-95...2 or 4...Roller or flat tappet cam, one-piece rear seal if theres anymore info you need please let me know |

They should work, but I wouldnt if I were you and had a choice. I have the same smog heads and they are pretty crappy. Already had one press-in rocker stud pull out and the rounded cast surface on top just loves to leak oil from under the valve covers.

Yeah poney up $600 for a new set of Vortecs, they'll outperform those smoggers by a long shot and more than likely produce at least 30-40 more HP!
