TF drag link dust boots.
Doing a restore on my '57.
Surprisingly, the drag link seems to be in really good shape. But, the dust boots weren't and need to be replaced. Anybody know where I can get a couple of boots for it? Thanks. |

Re: TF drag link dust boots.
CV-96 on page 258 of the fillingstation catalog should work. 1.50 each . Those are tie rod end boots.
You might be able to get some black poly tie rod end boots from Energy Suspension through O'Reilly's or Autozone and save the shipping though. They sell them for the late model guys. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...d=tie+rod+boot See if these will work. Number here if the link doesn't work. Energy Suspension Hyper-Flex - Tie Rod End Boot Part # 9.13101G

I don't mind paying shipping but I don't want to do trial and error for fit. It might be best for me to call Fillingstation and see if they know if the CV-96 will fit or not. |

Re: TF drag link dust boots.
Before I ordered one I would go down to your favorite local Auto Parts store. They typically sell tie rod end boots in rubber and also polygraphite. You might "get lucky" and find one that fits. If not, then order one and support an old chevy truck vendor.
