I am looking for a set (or a single door)of rust free doors, preferably within a three or 4 hour drive from Atlanta. If I can't find local doors I will have to look at shipping some. I need other parts as well, including a couple of inner fenders, and possibly a cab roof if someone has one they are cutting for parts. I would also consider an entire AC cab, but would definitely want to find one with a solid roof area. I would also love to find a set of buckets (buddy buckets or regular style) but I know that is a long shot. Thanks ,

Hey Alan, I don't know much about the buckets yet. Are the frames solid? When you say total overhaul, does that just mean cushions and covers or do the frame and brackets need welding repair?

By the way, when I first found this site, I was really looking for a 64-66 SWB big window fleet side truck. Your truck was one of the most beautiful I have seen and I considered seeing if I could drive up to look at it. I think I remember that you do restorations up in N Georgia.

I am interested in talking to you some more about the buddy buckets. Thanks for the speedy reply

The metal on the seats is solid. Needs cushions, covers, two brackets are missing on the center seat and the adjusting lever is missing. A set similar to these just sold for 550 here on the board.

Your more than welcome to come up. Weekends are best.

BTW thanks for the comments on my truck.

Mike I have a set of doors that have been blasted and primed. They were originally western doors ( California) and other than some extra holes for various mirror configurations are prime doors. They came from a 68 "custom" model truck and were originally red. I am within your 3/4 hour range, I am located 15 minutes west of Asheville just off I40 , but could meet you in franklin nc just off 441, if you were interested. I am looking for $750 for the pair and can get you pictures if interested in the morning. Harold

Got an a/c cab. Gonna get glass out tomorrow but don't see any rust in roof area so far.radio area is cut. 150 for bare cab.

Those doors look great. I am definitely interested in meeting up with you. It might take me a couple of weeks, though. I usually do most of my running around on Fridays. Thanks for replying. Does your buddy have the 72 only doors? I think I am okay on the hood and believe I have the 71 doors taken care of as well. I know of one guy here in Fayetteville named Kevin (hee haw racing)that is on the board some. I do need to call him. Do you have another source you in Fayetteville?

kevin is his name thats where my buddy got his parts from he doesnt know which set he is gona use yet
