Re: WTB Stock big block truck oil pan

Here is one I have currently. It has a couple of dings but very solid pan. I believe this one was from a 71 C20 Suburban 402.

$40.00 if interested, I will get a shipping quote for you.

Thank you,
Thomas

Thomas,
Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the sump was short than the one pictured. I have one very similar. I will pass for now until I can do some more research. I may also delete the thread If I can, until I figure it out.

Re: WTB Stock big block truck oil pan

I've been using 8 quart pans off c60 and c70 trucks with 366 engines. Works great with no clearance issues, plus if I use the 2 quart filter I'm running a total of 10 quarts of oil. Yea its over kill.

No problem at all Paul and I think you maybe able to delete the thread or have a moderator help.

I would take another look at the engine trans combo in you provided photo. The oil pan looks like it is about 6-8 inches shorter than it should be. The back of the pan should be somewhere close to the back of the block.

The pan in the photo also looks more like a 65/66 Corvette 427 pan to me.

I could be completely wrong here but just an observation.

Thank you,
Thomas

Re: WTB Stock big block truck oil pan

I agree with Thomas, the pic is not accurate the back of the pan is missing in this shot. All my truck pans look very similar to the one DLTruck offered, good luck Paul.
