intake manifold ID
I'm trying to ID the small block in my 72 GMC and I'm finding that it's a mix and match proposition.
The intake manifold has a number between the carb (QJet) and distributor: GM 7540 The rest of the number is hidden and I don't want to take the linkage off to get to it. When I look up casting #s, none have that 4 digit beginning. Anyone have any ideas? |

Just curiousity- the engine has a mix of parts from various years and I'm just trying to understand the puzzle.
