Tahoe C-Notch
I bought a Tahoe that came with everything to flip the rear axle except for the c-notch. I have tried searching but no luck. Is the c-notch for a Tahoe and the pick up the same? And is there a recommended notch to buy?
Thanks in advance, Brandon. |

Re: Tahoe C-Notch
The frames on the trucks are straight where you need to install it, i am not sure about the tahoes but i wouldnt figure it would be that much difference. I have installed 2 DJM kits on trucks and they fit really well and never had any problems with them.

Re: Tahoe C-Notch
I can't speak from experience for a 2-door Tahoe, but if yours is a 4-door, the frames are curved over the axle, so a truck notch wouldn't work.

Re: Tahoe C-Notch
I believe they are different & I also just looked @ BellTechs website & the part #'s are different for a truck & 2dr Tahoe flip kit.

Re: Tahoe C-Notch
I know this is an old thread, but, I had some questions on a notch kit for a 98 2 door Tahoe. I have had her for 10+ years and she already has a flip kit and springs in the front. I have 2" drop spindles and 1" drop shakles coming for it from belltech. I have already ground out the bump stop brackets and was debating on if I needed to buy the notch kit, or if anyone has had any success with notching the frame without the kit, or had any better routes getting more clearance for the axle without dropping 3 bills? Also, does anyone run that low of a drop in their Tahoe with 20" wheels, if so, what series tire gives the best clearance in the front? Thanks for any help and info in advance.
