New 72 Jimmy Owner

Finally found one close to home... it starts, runs and drives but needs a few things before it can pass inspection. Has the usual rust but in decent shape I think. I am attaching a few pics for you guys to check out. It has a later model 350 that was once fuel injected but is back to being carbureted. Has a new fuel tank with an electric fuel pump. Wiring is everywhere, stuff cut, unhooked, not working but none the less it's something I have wanted for a while. It appears to have been "restored" at one time or another.

A few questions.. does the fuel tank look like a Blazer/Jimmy fuel tank? What is the plug sticking out of the back? It does appear it has a lift but no blocks, best way to get it back to stock height?
