Need Help Dating TH350

I'm trying to figure out if my TH350 is original to my 1971 Blazer. I've been searching but cant seem to find a definite answer. It clearly has the letter K stamped on it which I understand to mean its a heavy duty 4x4 case but I cant seem to figure out the assembly date. Theres nothing stamped on the pan but the code KE024D79 is stamped into what I believe is called the governor cover.
Thanks in advance for anyone that can help me out.

On the T350, the VIN will be stamped on either the drivers side housing near the shifter, on the right side of the housing just above the pan, or on a boss behind the bellhousing flange on the passenger side of the transmission.

Searched all those locations not seeing anything. Found a couple more stampings. On the bottom flange of the bell housing in an area that would be covered by the inspection cover are the numbers 3-09-29-73 and on the top of the trans near the rear JR635 and 14

More confused than ever. The case clearly has a large K on it, however it does not have the 6 bolt inspection cover.

Re: Need Help Dating TH350

Your Governor cover decodes as a 1979 TH350 behind a 231/252 Buick V6 which is obviously incorrect for the case it is attached to. 1973-1981 codes are on the Governor Cover.

A 1971 TH350 year/application code would be on the 1-2 Accumulator Cover, Though that can be changed like the governor cover.
