Post Two questions for the experts

A. Where can I get 502 fender tags for my 72?

B. Should I remove the two part drive shaft and have a single shaft made?

Do the 502 emblems look just like the 400/350 emblems and I know my Chevy dealer will not be able to find them unless I give him the part no. any idea?

not likely on the badges.
if you can, you should go to a single shaft. But I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Just replace all 3 U-joints and the carrier, and you'll have 3 years to look and figure it all out at a minimum.

502 badges are made, by some aftermarket company, but I'll be damned if I can remember which one...

On the driveshaft...yes...I would go with a 1 piece, if you have the $$$

I think either Classic Industries or Impala Bob's might have the fender emblems. If not just keep searching.

reccommended to swap to a one piece shaft, but youll have ot have one made and cant do it unless overall elngth is no more than 75 or 76" long, cant remember which, that rules out possibility of using one piece in the 4 speed trucks, 78" long in that case, thats too long...(with SBC engines)
