Drive shaft please help

where can i find a longer drive shaft or a nice well built drive shaft for mudding and ect I bought a truck a while back and it had a lift on it and the guys didnt extend the drive shaft to even everything up! Any advice on where to get one and what kind i should get will help out alot thanks in advance

No problem. I've heard about them on PowerblockTV. I know Trucks used them and I think Xtreme 4x4 did also. I may use them to replace my 2 part driveshaft on my '81 3/4 ton 2wd with a 1 piece to eliminate a vibration from the carrier barring.

The vibration is not caused by the the carrier bearing, so you must have either a slight bend or other imbalance in one of the shafts you already have. A one-piece driveshaft that long will be pretty expensive. The diameter of the tubing gets much larger when they need to be that long. It would probably save you quite a bit to have yours checked/balanced.

If thats the case, would a 1 piece shaft out of a Heavy Half or Big 10 style 1/2 ton truck fit my 3/4 ton?

If your truck has the 14 bolt full floating axle then yes you can use a driveshaft from a 73-81 1/2 ton as long as the truck has the same trans as yours does. All that you will need is a trick U-joint so it will fit your yoke. The semi floating 14 bolt uses a shorter driveshaft.

I'm going to be changing the fluid in my rear axle, how can I tell if it's indeed a FF?

Man (Drive Shaft King) In Dallas tx, Custom makes them and they are great at it.

Sorry I don't think so I looked myself but you may try to look for a shop that does that around you. If you cant find no other way.
