wheels

i am building a 1969 chevy truck. it is on bags. but other than that i want the body to be fairly stock. i am shaving stuff but what i mean is i do not want to widen my wheel tubs in the bed or raise the bed floor. i was pretty sure that i was not going to get wheels any larger than 18 inches but i recently found some wheels that they do not make but 20 inches and bigger and the price is pretty good. i am looking for feedback from those of you who have done this. like 20x10's are too wide for the back. or 20's in the front will rub unless... and overall how the fit is and if it will be more trouble than worth.
thanks for your time
