yeah, i bought another junker

but its just the kind of junk i like...... the rubber bumpers just rotted off of it before i got there, frame is rotted out, but it is an unmolested 74 stingray. the only thing missing is those bumpers. oh , the guy gave me a frame, he had bought just because he wanted it gone.. so when the truck gets done , this one is next.....

Re: yeah, i bought another junker

thanks for the comments guys, i am on vacation currently in western north carolina for the night. left the smokie mountains national park this morning, took my daughters to see their biological dad in north georgia, heading home in the early a.m. the price was 2400 bucks, due to the bad frame. its really rough, but its all i could afford. i love it though. i'll get it cranked and running this week, but i'll probably swap the frame out before i try to drive it around. yep, still has every thing and the numbers match.
oh post a pic of your vettes here please!! i would love to see them. condition or price doesn't matter i love em all.

The price isn't that bad for the shape its in.It may be rough but anything can be fixed just takes time and money tho.If you never worked on old fiberglass it can be fun it gets brittle with age but can be fixed tho.

Re: yeah, i bought another junker

Man, looks like you could throw a chrome bumper on the front of that thing and it'd look like a 68-72

When I was 19 (1999) I bought a 69 vette from my neighbor for $1500. It was in pieces but all there, minus motor and trans, but with lots of new parts. Like the idiot I am, I chickened out from the cost of getting it back together, and sold it.........My biggest car regret ever

Re: yeah, i bought another junker

Did you buy this from a guy in or around Tuscaloosa? If so I was about to buy this car. If this is the same car, which I think it is, WOW what a small world!
