1968 gage cluster

I was at the local junk pile today and found a '68 with a nice looking gage cluster/instrument panel. It's kind of unique. It has the choke in the top right corner and lights/wiper switches on the left. With gages, not idiot lights.

If anyone has interest in it let me know. hgs_notes@yahoo.com

I think all the 68's have the choke hole in the top right some, like mine have the "choke delete" plate over the hole. Mine sounds like the one you are describing.
I am looking for one like that to hack up but havent been out looking around here yet.

yepall 67 and 68s were like this, 69 up relocated wipers switch to RH side insteadof having choke there, reason why: auto choke available in 69-up

Actually, they were avalible in 6768, hence the delete plate, but the automatic choke became standard in 69.

On a rig with both a manual choke and a (hand) throttle, which knob would be on top?

I have a complete guage cluster from a 1968 that is in GOOD shape, and has the Choke delete on the right side. Anyone interested email at LINUS0014@dc.rr.com, I can get pics too!
