Club cab

I have seen a few crew cab conversions on the board here.
I was wondering if anyone has done a club cab type thing?
Yeah I know this is a 28 Ford, not a 68 Chevy, but it shows what I'm talking about. Maybe possibly taking a long bed frame, and putting a short bed bed on it and extending the cab back say 18 inches or so?

Re: Club cab

Think what a conversation piece it would be and how beneficial it would be to extend the doors 18 inches also.

Re: Club cab

I have seen it done and IMO it doesn't look great due to the shape of the cab on 67-72s.

Re: Club cab

Hmmm... not that bad. I think I would try to extend the drip rail back behind the rear side window.
