Will it hold Park? Did the transfer case get bumped into neutral?

Re: 2000 K3500 auto problem

It's not the tranny thank goodness. The transfer case is wore out. Pulled it a short distance home then started checking things. First we disconnected the cooler line for the tranny, cranked it over and shot fluid out. Then I started the truck and shifted R to D and could feel the motor and tranny trying to pull. Started shifting the t case and then put it into D and it moved. Called a friend that runs a drivetrain shop and he said it sounded like the t case was wore out. So I drove it to his shop and everytime i let off the gas it tried to pop into neutral. Anyways its in line to be rebuilt. Thanks for you input.
