New member with 46 GMC

Hi, glad I found this site as not only is there a group with the early trucks but also many people doing late model powertrain swaps. I have a 46 GMC that needed an engine rebuild and have decided to keep the body stock looking but do a 70 year upgrade in powertrain technology. I have a GM L83 engine and 6L80 trans so I am sure there will be a learning curve to make this work. Thanks and looking forward to chatting with some experts.
