Lets see what truck stuff Santa brought you

Santa asked are you naughty or nice. I said nice. Santa brought me these with all original hardware. I didn't say I was extremely nice. Thanks Santa.

I was naughty and nice. For you see my birthday falls on Christmas day. I got a tilt steering column, intermediate shaft and two u-joints.

It's an LMC 15" wood wheel, it's so much nicer than i thought it was going to be. Great fit and finish. Super happy with this purchase.

Here's a couple tips for when you install the wheel, if you already have not.

1) Careful with the bolts going into the aluminum adapter they can strip very easily.

2) The horn cap has nubs and dimples around the perimeter edge. The oval nubs keep the little round circuit board from going too deep into the cap. The little round dimples keep the cap from popping off. If horn cap pops off... horn honks! You can take the cap and put it on a piece of rounded wood stock and take a steel punch and punch the dimples so they stick out a bit more proud inside the cap. You will feel a more positive grip keeping it on the little brown circuit board. You will see what I mean when you install, if you already have not. Mine was loose and now has a solid grip after I smacked the dimples with a punch.

Glad you had a good Christmas!

That thing is nice! I didn't ask Santa for anything, and that's what I got. My fault. I'm going to see if the wife likes this steering wheel. We have an old "Caprice" steering wheel that looks like garbage from being in the sun for 30+ years.

Re: Lets see what truck stuff Santa brought you

That looks a lot like my Model 28 S&W, except that the finish on mine is not shiny (on purpose) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smith_%26_Wesson_Model_28 , and I have Pachmayr grips 'cause of my big mitts. Nice looking piece, btw! Note- I was not an officer of any Highway Patrol, even if I did buy a gun they used. I just got chased by them.
