are cpp lowering springs for SBC or BBC

Hi, I was looking a getting a CPP 2/4 drop from summit racing. Reason being fast free shipping and it also included the spring retainers. My problem is that I have the BBC so I asked summit if they had springs for small blocks and big blocks and they didn't know. So I called CPP and they said all their spring are for big blocks. This didn't sound right to me. so if you bought a 2" drop in front with a small block no way your getting the 2" you thought you were gonna and vise versa with the big block. its gonna be more then 2". wondering if anyone knew for sure. Probably just gonna order from ECE and pay more for shipping and the spring retainers, as I called them to and they had the different spring for SBC and BBC. Thanks... Gonna have to become a premium member soon with all the question I've been asking lately.

And there you have another example of ECE quality over CPP, Summit, etc. ECE is top quality and the cost is way closer to the others than the level of quality. In this case, you get more than you paid for by comparison. You don't even get what you need with the others. One size fits all makes it cheaper for the big guys.

Re: are cpp lowering springs for SBC or BBC

I bought standard height big block springs to use with lowered spindles, and the wire size is larger on the big block springs verses the small block spring. I could measure the wire diameter if you need.
