It Took A Complete Treardown....

…..of my truck to figure out why the headlights didn't work! I took the headlight buckets off the fenders last year, but didn't get around to working on them until yesterday. The last few times the truck was driven, the headlights refused to work if it was damp. Found out why.....the driver's side bucket had several rust through holes in it, and a nice "rust trail" down to the wire harness. Must have been playing with the whole system....

My ongoing truck projects:
48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
