patina question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am building a 1965 c10 patina. My drivers side fender is really rough Should I cut out the bad and patch then primer or just bolt it on. Here is a picture of the truck and the fender.

I'd be tempted to fix the rust, go a bit smoother on the wrinkles, and then fauxtina it back.

that's a bit beyond patina, I'm with Billy.

That is what I was thinking as well

I'll third Billy. Since you already have to fauxtina the rockers, the fender would look better that way too
