3-point seat belt install photos

For someone who asked, and I can't put them in a PM, so here's how I mounted my 3-point belts. I make no claims its safe. Consult a certified mechanic before playing with yours.

Unlike 2-point, these are actually FOUR point because you have the left, the right, and the shoulder, AND the retractor.

To mount the retractor AND the belt on the same side I used the factory seat bolt mount, then I ran a large grade-8 bolt THROUGH the seat track frame, believing it to be strong enough. Certainly stronger than just washers around the floor plate.

So in my case, I believe, I have the retractor mounted with the factory belt bolt and the belt itself anchored to the seat track.

The third (dark) photo shows the underside of the retractor mount.
