Re: Spid pics.

Can you post a pic of your seat so we can see what it looks like?

Re: Spid pics.

You seat has had the inserts replaced. It is not the original plaid highlander seat material. It is also not the correct type of houndstooth material. Most people didnt like the plaid and probably just had the inserts replace. Your truck would have had the orange plaid inserts.

Re: Spid pics.

I have not been able to figure out the order number thing? I have seen them on some truck, but most dont have it??? Maybe it was just a plant thing?? I have a Blazer that was built in St Louis and it has an order number on it. I also have the window sticker and that number is in the upper right hand corner.

Re: Spid pics.

A highlander seat for sure, a houndstooth seat did not have any kind of scroll with it.

That is NOT a Highlander seat. The pic below shows the 4 highlander seat options.

Re: Spid pics.

What on the SPID tells if the transmission is a 350 or a 400, as both seem to say Turbo-Hydra????

It WAS a highlander seat, but it had the cloth inserts replaced.

The spid unfortunatly does not distinguish a 350 or a 400 TH. both are listed as a M49 option.

Re: Spid pics.

Just a reminder to all that I have a copy of the GM Price & Facts books for 67 & 68 chevrolet Passenger cars and trucks. It will answear many questions about options and codes available at the time of build.

Look up SMS auto fabric, they have the highlander seat insert material avaliable. Very good company to deal with, but they are not cheap.
